Thad Nodine, Ph.D., writes about transformation and democracy in America. He is a former speech writer for U.S. Senator Lawton Chiles, legislative reporter in Denver, Colorado, lecturer in literature and writing in California and Japan, communications director and vice president of education think tanks, and author of the award-winning debut novel “Touch and Go” (Unbridled), about a young blind man who leads a foster family on a road trip through the love, lies, greed, and promise of America.
For three decades as president of Nodine Consulting, Thad has written dozens of articles, reports, and op eds (and has managed communications strategies) to advance policies that help students achieve their education and career goals, particularly first-generation college students, those from low-income families, and students of color.
